★ Verified native, never projected

★ Before / After

They came in with a legend. They left with a feed that earned it.

Daedo Sikdang has been Seoul's name in Korean ribeye since 1964. The LA location had the pedigree, the Prime beef, and the room. What we inherited was the one part that did not match: the digital presence.

★ They came with
  • 01

    Insights deep in the red.

The Instagram and Facebook we inherited had extremely negative insights and no posting consistency at all.

  • 02

A feed unworthy of the room.

Sixty years of Seoul heritage and Certified Angus Beef Prime on the table, represented online by silence.

  • 03

The real diners out of reach.

The 35 to 55 crowd that fills an upscale steakhouse was not living on Instagram. Nobody was talking to them where they were.

  • 04

A sister venue with no runway.

The D. Lounge karaoke bar was approaching its soft opening with zero audience built for it.

  • 05

    Nothing current anywhere it's searched.

Hours, menu, and presence scattered and stale across Yelp and Google while the restaurant itself ran flawlessly.

★ They left with
  • 01

Positive insights in under fourteen days.

The content overhaul started August 3. Before mid-month, every trend line had flipped.

  • 02

    A reels-first system with 3-second hooks.

On-location filming: the kitchen, the tableside cuts, the sauces, the room. Twenty-five posts in ninety days.

  • 03

    Yelp working twice.

Managed ads aimed at the 35 to 55 diner, and by November a Yelp recognition framed at the host stand.

  • 04

Google and the menu brought current.

New dinner-only hours, the refreshed menu, and a presence that finally matched the room, everywhere people actually search.

  • 05

Ordering and gift cards, live on Toast.

The Toast storefront set up and selling: five gift-card tiers online, plus partner giveaways with named winners and the D. Lounge soft-opening push.

★ The thesis

The restaurant was already excellent. The internet just hadn't been told.

Sixty years of Seoul heritage, Certified Angus Beef Prime at every table, and a feed that said none of it. The turnaround was never reinvention. It was translation.

★ The throughline

"Seoul to LA."

Three words at the top of the account. Sixty years of heritage, one address in Koreatown, and a feed that finally says it out loud.

★ Filmed at the table

The kitchen finally got its close-up.

★ Section 08 · The Campaigns

★ The full redo

Not just the socials. The whole front door.

A restaurant's marketing is every place a hungry person checks before deciding. We rebuilt all of them in the same window.

01

The fourteen-day flip

The August 3 content overhaul: consistent posting, engagement management, and strategic content took every insight from negative to positive in under two weeks.

02

The reels-first system

Proprietary 3-second hook formulas, on-location filming, and a food-first grid. The feed finally photographed like the room.

03

Yelp, worked twice

Managed Yelp ads aimed at the 35 to 55 diner Instagram cannot reach, plus review management. The framed recognition followed in November.

04

Google and the menu

Hours, the dinner-only pivot, and the menu brought current everywhere the restaurant gets searched, so the first impression stopped contradicting the second.

05

The giveaway engine

Partner giveaways with real winners announced on the feed, including the MamaMa ssamjang collab, each one built to convert followers into reservations.

06

Toast and the gift-card store

The Toast setup that put ordering and five gift-card tiers online, feeding the D. Lounge runway: table banners, the soft-opening giveaway, and an audience already waiting.

★ Three years later

The turnaround held.

The account we rebuilt kept growing after our window closed. Creators line up to film there now, the karaoke lounge we gave a runway to is open, and in 2026 the Korean government named it an official Excellent Korean Restaurant abroad.

  • 01 Followers on the account today 10,118
  • 02 Posts on the feed 518
  • 03 Best creator reel since 197,394
  • 04 Korea's Ministry of Agriculture official selection 2026

/ pulled live from the account, july 2026. the years since belong to the restaurant and its creators. the foundation is where it turned.

★ A note from the team

If you read this far, you probably run a place that is better than its internet.

That gap is our favorite job in marketing. The product is already proven, and every place a customer checks first just needs to start telling the truth about it.

If your feed, your Yelp, or your Google page is underselling the real thing, we can start with a thirty-minute conversation. No deck. No pitch. Just a real read on whether the work fits.
