Twenty-five years as Bakersfield's only nonprofit hospice, and a digital presence that undersold all of it. We ran the social and rebuilt the website end to end.

A year of attention, measured.
Pulled from the platform and site analytics, verified native. This is what the refresh did in its first year.
A mission that changes lives. A presence that did not show it.
Hoffmann is the hospice Bakersfield families have trusted for a quarter century: the county's only nonprofit, a 24-7 call team, grief support open to everyone. Online, almost none of that came through.
A website stuck in the past.
Twenty-five years of the county's only nonprofit hospice care, presented through a dated build that undersold every bit of it.
Social with no cadence.
Posts when time allowed, no system behind them. The community's most important care story kept going quiet.
Attention that went nowhere.
What engagement existed had no destination. Views did not become visits, and visits did not become action.
Every channel on its own island.
Website, Facebook, Instagram, link in bio, events. Nothing pointed anywhere on purpose.
The hardest conversation, made harder.
Families researching hospice at two in the morning found a site that could not guide them to an answer.
Attention is cheap. Trust at the hardest moment of a family's life is earned. We rebuilt everything that carries it.
A mission-forward website, a social program with a real cadence, and one funnel rule: every channel points to one place.
A full refresh. Web, social, and the funnel between.
Not a facelift. The website, the content engine, and the path connecting them were rebuilt as one system with one job: turn attention into action for the mission.
The website rebuild
Mission-forward and mobile-first: the "Is It Time for Hospice?" guide, grief support, volunteer and donor paths, and the 24-7 call team one tap away.
The social program
A real cadence across Facebook and Instagram: 189 posts in a single seven-week report window, publishing above the 75th percentile for the category.
The one-funnel rule
Every post, bio, and event points to one place. The link hub converted at a 92 percent click-through rate across the year.
The event engine
Run to Remember, Light Up A Life, Voices of Inspiration, the holiday Toy Drive: promoted across social and web, with radio collabs and print to match, postcards to race-day flyers.
The work in the wild

One month of the real calendar
Named series, community events, and the everyday care story

Built for the 2am search on a phone
The receipts.
The growth ledger from a single seven-week report window, October into November 2024, exactly as the platforms reported it.
The throughline
"Seen. Visited. Moved."
300,938 saw the mission. Half again more walked through the digital front door. The community answered.
For a hospice, moved is the only metric that matters
